Things couldn’t feel better in the PC space these days (well, the issue of storefront exclusives is still somewhat hot, but that’s somewhat irrelevant within the context of today’s news). Sony revealed this month that Marvel’s Spider-Man series is coming to PC, alongside today’s reveal of a fully fledged The Last of Us remake that will also be released on PC in the near future.
All of these titles (which aren’t exactly “B-list” franchises) will join God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves on PC, as the list of Sony first party titles being lined up for release on Steam and other digital stores gets larger every passing year (there’s also been rumors of Returnal and Sackboy being playtested recently, but that’s not 100% confirmed by the company itself, sadly).
Marvel’s Spider-Man already has a release date (August 12, 2022) while Miles Morales is scheduled to launch in Fall 2022. Things are looking pretty good in the PC space! Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves will probably get a PC release date in the following weeks, and it wouldn’t surprise me if we heard more about other ports sooner rather than later.
