I see a lot of games every day, but for some reason I’d missed the existence of Louis Rigaud‘s Iris and the Giant, a tactical collectible card game roguelike with RPG elements that looks downright gorgeous. Published by Goblinz Studio, this beautiful adventure explores the story of a young woman facing her inner demons, something that you don’t often find in other games belonging to this genre. Interested? Iris and the Giant should get a Steam release of February 27th, and if that wasn’t enough, a free demo has just been uploaded, letting players check out the first few levels of the game.

Iris and the Giant is a fusion of a collectible card game with RPG and roguelike elements. You play as Iris, who must brave her fears in her imaginary world. Behind the game’s unique minimalist art style players will explore a touching story of a young woman facing her inner demons and soothing the raging giant inside.
