New World Interactive has just released a huge update for their excellent WW2 shooter Day of Infamy, adding two maps and a new foliage system.
Inspired by the upcoming (and critically acclaimed) Christopher Nolan movie, the centerpiece of this new free DLC is a map based on the evacuation of Dunkirk.
Our Dunkirk map offers a unique gameplay perspective by inverting the flow of battle so it ends on the beach instead of starting there.

Players will also be able to join matches on an all new map based on the Battle of Breville, which also serves as a perfect showcase for the game’s new foliage system.
The Breville map highlights our new foliage system while the gameplay is highly intense from extensive testing in collaboration with our community.
