Yeah, all that stuff about Valve being wrong with their new approach to curation is very stupid. I said this before, but in my opinion, if a book store can sell basically any kind of book, then Steam should be allowed to sell basically any kind of game.

Also, the pallyness between games industry (especially indie developers) and people in the games media is another cause for this article being written. There is a reason that the games media (especially the likes of Polygon and Kotaku) are always on the side of games devs or the industry. Hell even when Blizzard makes a blunder and announces a fricking mobile Diablo game at Blizzcon and gets booed for it, these asshole Journos start calling gamers entitled man children and misogynists. (yes if you hate Blizzard for making a mobile game, you are a misogynist according to some of them)

No wonder then that this bastard who wrote the piece sees it as a black and white thing and thinks “Devs are losing money because Valve is making them discount games”
