2064: Read Only Memories Getting Sequel in 2020

If cyberpunk thrillers are your thing, then you might be thrilled to hear that Midboss is working on Read Only Memories: Neurodiver, a sequel to their 2015 cult hit 2064: Read Only Memories.

Players will go back to Neo-San Francisco as they try to track down a rogue psychic who’s creating all sort of trouble in the minds of the city’s inhabitants. Why is the game titled Neurodiver, you ask? Well, it’s actually the name of a psionic creature that lets protagonist ES88 (why do telepaths always have such hard to pronounce names?) enter other people’s memories so they can find traces of the menace that’s wreaking havoc in the their minds. Of course the Neurodiver must be used with caution, as it could damage the memories of those affected forever… No pressure! Returning fan favorite characters will do all they can to support ES88 in their quest, even going as far as letting them tinker with their own mind so they can solve the mystery of the Golden Butterfly (I’m guessing that’s our mysterious psychic).

Read Only Memories: Neurodiver will be out for PC sometime in 2020.
