Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi Coming to the West on June 5

Koei Tecmo revealed this week that Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi will get a Western release on June 5 for PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4.

Focusing on Sengoku Era Japan, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi is the latest standalone entry in this acclaimed grand strategy series, and was originally released on November 2017 for Japanese and Chinese audiences.

Players will experience some of the most epic battles and notable events of the Sengoku Era in Japan, a period of time where regional lords bitterly fought for supremacy, attempting to claim dominance over the land with the ultimate aim of uniting the country. As usual, strategy fans will have a breadth of tactical options at their disposal, as they engage in military campaigns and carefully manage their supplies through Production Facilities and Trade Routes that expand territory and increase the strength of the army.

The game’s signature Resolve System adds personality to the officers roaming the lands, giving them their own set of aspirations and goals, and dictating the way each character acts in a given situation. Aside from changing gameplay dynamically, this feature also gives us an insight into the humans behind every AI simulated officer, something that history buffs will be specially fond of.
