Ghost Recon Wildlands’ PvP Mode Getting Open Beta Soon

Ubisoft announced today that Ghost Recon Wildlands‘ PvP mode will get an open beta test later in the summer. This new multiplayer mode will be called Ghost War, and the developers plan to fully release it this fall, as a free update to all Ghost Recon Wildlands players.

Ghost War features team deathmatch scenarios that build upon the tactical squad play from the main game. Teams of four players will go up against each other in large scale, open maps, and a roster of varied classes will be available, meaning that choosing the right gear will be as important as being a good shot with Wildlands’ extensive arsenal.

A number of new features will add even more tactical options to the fold. Some of these additions include a suppressing fire mechanic and sound markers, betraying the location of previously unseen snipers and creating tactical opportunities for flanking actions.
