WRATH: Aeon of Ruin Gets Big Update, Roadmap, 2021 1.0 Launch Date

3D Realms announced today that WRATH: Aeon of Ruin will exit Early Access on February 25, 2021. This full release of KillPixel GamesQuake engine shooter will be available on PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC players can of course still buy the Early Access version (which will be upgraded to the full release at no extra charge) for a discounted rate (US$24.99). If you are feeling extra flush with cash, there’s also the option of the Big Box, which retails for US$99.99 and includes a ton of content (limited copies available though).

Fans will also be happy to learn that the developers intend to keep updating the game while it’s in Early Access, with a big patch launching today (introducing a new level, weapon and enemy type). An in-depth roadmap has also been posted so players know what to expect before the game comes out next year.

We’ve fallen in love with WRATH throughout development and we want it to be the best game possible. So while we’re coming out later than we wished, we’re creating the Founder’s Edition Big Box since our fans love them, as well as making sure our roadmap is detailed and transparent.

Frederik Schreiber, Vice President of 3D Realms and Producer on WRATH.
