One Gamer Fund Charity Sale Now Live on Steam

Interested in helping a good cause and snagging some great games at unbeatable prices in the process? If your answer is affirmative, then head over to the Steam store, as One Gamer Fund, an initiative created in order to support AbleGamers, Child’s Play, Games for Change, Global Game Jam, IGDA Foundation, Stack-Up and Take This, are running a charity sale on Steam for the second year in a row. If your answer is negative, you either are a horrible, horrible person, or are somewhat broke, which we can all understand (though in that case I’d implore you to share the news of this charity drive with any friends who’d be interested and able to help).

The sale lasts from 20-23 September, and half of the proceeds will be divided amongst the above listed charity organizations.

If my calculations are correct, forty two titles are currently available as part of this promotion, with games published by the likes of Devolver Digital and tinyBuild among the standout offerings.

Each of the partnering organizations is focused on serving people who are playing or making games. From helping children in hospitals smile through the power o play to using games to make the world a better place, the funds raised through the generosity of gamers will go right back to those in our community who most need our support.
