PC gamers eager to play the upcoming Resident Evil VII: Biohazard on VR headsets will have to wait 12 months to enjoy the title’s virtual reality features, according to a Facebook advert.
The ad clearly states that the game’s virtual reality features will only be accessible to PlayStation VR headset owners (the PSVR device only works on PlayStation 4/Pro consoles, and it’s not compatible with PC) This exclusivity period will end after 12 months (on January 2018)
Knowing the PC gaming community, the title will probably receive an unofficial VR patch before the exclusivity period is over. The game’s system requirements are quite low, suggesting that it’s been designed for virtual reality from the ground up.
