Croteam and Devolver Digital revealed today that The Talos Principle II will be released on November 2nd.
The original game turned heads back in 2014, as the Serious Sam developers stunned gamers everywhere with its complex puzzles and non-linear world. Now, almost a decade after, Croteam is back at it again, promising a thought-provoking, character-driven story and even more puzzles to be solved.
Preorders are already available, with the game being sold for US$26.99 thanks to a generous 10% off launch discount from its usual US$29.99 pricing. Fans who already own the original will be rewarded with a loyalty discount. The Talos Principle and its Road to Gehenna DLC are also currently on sale with a massive 90% off discount, in celebration of the upcoming sequel’s release.
Born into a new world where biological humanity is extinct but human culture lives on in a city of robots, you find yourself swept up in a mind-bending adventure involving a mysterious megastructure hiding enormous powers.
The more you discover, the more you will be confronted with questions about the nature of the cosmos and the purpose of civilization. The broken promise of a better tomorrow, the fear of repeating humankind’s mistakes, faith in reason or renouncing humanity altogether – the choices you make and the sides you take will determine the course of events.
