Saber Interactive revealed today that their upcoming co-op/PvP zombie shooter World War Z will be out for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 16th.

Set in the same universe as the 2013 movie, World War Z is first and foremost a cooperative experience, with up to four players teaming up to take on the zombie hordes. A difficulty system that scales depending on the players’ performance, and a class system featuring six different playable archetypes with their own skills and perks ensure that there’s a ton of replayability, even before gamers switch to the PvPvsPvE mode, which ups the ante with multiplayer modes that pit players against each other while the zombies are also on the hunt for tasty human flesh.
